Optical Imaging

We develop optical imaging technologies and systems for biomedical applications, ranging from high-resolution and microscopy-based imaging to compact and functional imaging platforms enabled by advanced optical design and nanophotonics.

Optical Sensing

Optical Sensing

We explore optical sensing technologies that detect subtle changes in biological and physical environments. Our research includes spin-dependent light–matter interactions, weak-measurement approaches, and engineered optical interfaces for sensitive and compact sensing systems.

Thermal Photonics

Thermal Photonics

We investigate optical materials and structures that control thermal radiation for passive cooling and temperature management. Our goal is to translate these concepts into energy-free and wearable approaches for biomedical thermal management and related healthcare applications.

Optical Systems

We bridge fundamental optical concepts with system-level implementation through optical design, numerical simulation, beam control, instrumentation, and system integration, with applications spanning biomedical imaging, sensing, and emerging optical technologies.
