Photonics Lab. explores the science and engineering of light to create new ways of seeing, sensing, and interacting with the world. We develop optical technologies and systems across imaging, sensing, and thermal applications, with the goal of translating fundamental ideas into meaningful solutions for biomedical and emerging applications.
What we explore
Research Areas

01
Optical Imaging
Advanced optical imaging systems for high-resolution, compact, and functional biomedical applications.

02
Optical Sensing
Highly sensitive optical sensing based on light–matter interactions and advanced optical measurement.

03
Thermal Photonics
Controlling thermal radiation for passive cooling and biomedical thermal management.

04
